Bilirubin is taking from bile of animals. It is very effective in relieving convulsion, allaying a fever, detoxifcation, decreasing blood pressure and promoting number of eosinophils in the blood. It is the basis of Calculus Bovid Artifactus and it also used to make cosmetics, medicine health care products etc. The product is a reddish-yellow crystal powder, pH value partial to acid, insoluble in water, soluble in chloroform and carbondisulphide, slightly soluble in ethanol and diethyl ether. Bilirubin is the most important ingredient used to synthesize bezoar, and it is a very precious medical intermediate, which have the function for calmness, relieving convulsion, reducing fever and promoting the renascence of red blood cell. Bilirubin is the good medicine for treating encephalitis and anti cancer cell(W256).
